Simple Layering for A/W15

Welcome to Pre AW15. The collection making it’s way into our store from Danish label Custommade has got us super excited about Autumn, think easy to wear Danish classics, endless layering for the late Summer/early Autumn conditions, and you have a collection that exudes a gentle and luxurious style.

Custommade is a firm fashion favourite at Quattro Rish because it does not bend to the ever-changing demands of trends, with it’s clean Scandinavian design every piece of Custommade’s clothing offers a timeless yet contemporary style. This season sees floaty silk prints, oversize chunky knits and structured stripes with the return of the Custommade palette of crisp white, pink and dusty powdery tones which add softness to the dark military green, shale brown and dark greys.

Scandinavian Simplicity

We love Danish accessory brand, Becksondergaard. Their beautiful colours and Scandinavian simplicity creates stylish accessories with a twist that is ever changing to compliment each season’s trends.

This season from Becksondergaard we see the return of the luxury fabrics which we adore: fine woven wool and silk and cotton in perfect colours with out of scale and minimal prints – for the first time we see a more minimalist look with pops of colour on the edging. Think navy, grey with pops of Scandi neon ! This collection also shows a love for the sequin which we adore worn casually with jeans and cosy jumpers plus the return of the soft leather bags that are super affordable and super lovely.

The 3 white shirts you need in your wardrobe

Whether you wear yours oversized with rolled up sleeves or tied at the waist, white shirts have never been so versatile. The classic white shirt is a fashion staple and you can never have too many of them in your wardrobe, trust us: we own a few ! The countdown has truly begun for our wonderful and loyal customer Jane Bates who is about to embark on an epic cycle race on 16th June as part of Team WOW (Women on Wheels): an international all women road cycling team competing in Race Across the West 2015 for an amazing charity close to her heart, The Astro Brain Tumour Fund.

Say it with Stripes !

A perennial print trend, stripes are big news again for spring/summer 2015. From skirts to shirts, trousers and blouses, stripe is one of the biggest trends of the season and are coming from all directions at different widths and in refreshingly vibrant hues. Skirts Of The Season

and how to wear them…

Blink and you could miss the odd bare leg brave enough to display itself fresh from hibernation. Spring 2015 welcomes a variety of different skirt styles that on warmer days can be styled with boxy jumpers and sneakers and on cooler days layered with tights, loose knits, jackets and ankle boots. The graphic print gets a ladylike makeover in check form from Baum und Pferdgarten. Team with sneakers, slip on shoes or even wellies and a sweatshirt.

Spring Awakening

With the days now getting noticeably longer, we can’t help but start to dream about our spring wardrobes. Well, to be honest we have been fawning over our new arrivals at Quattro Rish headquarters for a couple of weeks now!

One item this spring that is perfect for the transition from winter to spring is the spring jacket. Currently being blogged about everywhere as a favourite spring trend on the streets of Europe, this season’s spring jacket can be dressed up (worn smart) or equally thrown over jeans and teamed with sneakers, slip-on pumps or ankle boots. A wardrobe staple, the spring jacket will transform your wardrobe with minimal effort, just thrown on and the let the jacket do the talking.
