There’s a huge trend for big, fluffy teddy-bear coats and faux-furs, this season.  With real fur fast becoming a thing of the past, Unreal Fur have become industry leaders in creating stunning faux fur pieces of the highest quality without the cruelty towards animals – and we are loving the colour and textures that have arrived at Quattro Rish for our first season with Unreal Fur.

The Wanderlust coat is going to be our staple outer-garment over the winter months; warm, cheerful, supremely comfortable and as fashionable worn with jeans and a pair of battered Converse as they are slung over the top of an evening dress.  Add the ivory Thread Through scarf for a subtle statement piece that works beautifully with flares and a chunky knit this autumn.

Unreal Fur ‘Wanderlust’ Coat in ginger, £195

Unreal Fur ‘Furocious Thread Through’ in ivory, £55

This season embraces both the 70s and 80s decades with clothing that can be as bold or subtle as you like.  For that bleached-out 70s vibe, style MiH’s London jeans, that have a subtle flare with some faux fur and platform shoes or pointy boots.

MiH London jeans (subtle flare), £185

IvyLee Copenhagen leopard pointed print boots, £160

To work the 80s trend team a leather pencil skirt with a chunky cropped jumper, add sheer tights with socks and team with sporty or pointy shoes.  Finish off the look with a big-shouldered coat – think Melanie-Griffith-Working-Girl.  Alternatively jump into a pair of wide-leg trousers with platforms.

Twist & Tango Arlene skirt in black, £89

SET chunky knit cropped jumper, £155 / SET leather pencil skirt with zip, £219

SET Flannel trousers, £139

IvyLee Copenhagen Pointy Metallic boots, £170

Dr Denim wide leg trousers, £55 / Sol Sana platform shoes, £129 / 5Preview zip jumper, £115

It’s always handy to have a statement white blouse, but never more so than this season because poking your collar over your jumper is a thing again.  Our favourite white shirts this season at QR are the Poet and Louis from British designer MiH, which can be styled with a statement necklace or under a jumper for a dose of preppy daytime chic.

MiH Louis shirt, £185 / 5Preview sweatshirt with knitted sleeves
