Denim Styles to wear Now and Forever

It’s only when the leaves start to turn their beautiful shades of orange, green and yellow that we can be sure it’s time to ditch the cut-offs and embrace this autumn’s hottest denim styles – from kick flares and a more subtle boot cuts to ankle-skimming, wide-leg pants that aren’t culottes, these are the freshest styles to wear right now.

The Linda jean from MiH are a super high rise with tapered leg. This denim shape looks fabulous on girls with typically curvy figures; smaller waists and gorgeously wider hips. The Linda also looks amazing on girls who have a boyish figure; straight up and down.

The London jean from MiH are a subtle, stylish alternative to the flare. This bootcut style is tailored to sit just at the waist, smoothing into a kick flare at the ankle and flatters curvy, pear and boyish shapes by elongating the leg. An everyday jean, style with sports shoes or heels.

One of our favourite denim brands for daytime denim is Swedish brand, Dr Denim. This season we are loving the coated black skinnies and flares which offer a very reasonable £45-£55 price bracket. The skinnies suit most shapes, whilst flares look amazing on women with long legs, pear or boyish shapes.

Simple Layering for A/W15

Welcome to Pre AW15. The collection making it’s way into our store from Danish label Custommade has got us super excited about Autumn, think easy to wear Danish classics, endless layering for the late Summer/early Autumn conditions, and you have a collection that exudes a gentle and luxurious style.

The 3 white shirts you need in your wardrobe

Whether you wear yours oversized with rolled up sleeves or tied at the waist, white shirts have never been so versatile. The classic white shirt is a fashion staple and you can never have too many of them in your wardrobe, trust us: we own a few ! Danish label Baum have a lot to celebrate, having won Danish Designer of the Year at the Elle Style Awards in Denmark 2014 they are up for the same category this year too. We love this diverse and on trend label that combines easy to wear cuts with unusual prints; pieces that are fun and unique. Blink and you could miss the odd bare leg brave enough to display itself fresh from hibernation. Spring 2015 welcomes a variety of different skirt styles that on warmer days can be styled with boxy jumpers and sneakers and on cooler days layered with tights, loose knits, jackets and ankle boots. The graphic print gets a ladylike makeover in check form from Baum und Pferdgarten. Team with sneakers, slip on shoes or even wellies and a sweatshirt.
