A Blogger’s Spring Must Haves…

[vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][text_output]Spring / Summer 2016 in Quattro Rish is shaping up to be be a strong season, with an emphasis on colour (brights win), a focus on outstanding fabrics (the softest cashmere and featherlight silks) and emerging new and super flattering denim shapes. Quattro Rish have Spring/ Summer covered, balanced with the fact that style also equals comfort and quality is paramount there is a piece in their collection (or two or three..) for everyone.

I had the pleasure of compiling my season must haves from Quattro Rish. There are so many looks to choose from I was spoilt for choice. My personal brief is always comfort, wearability, a flash of colour with a fashion twist. I need clothes to work hard for me, they need to pay they way in wearability and also need to work with my current wardrobe.

This Jumper1234 sweater is the ultimate in luxurious fabric, feels light as a feather and looks eye catching with it’s neon stripes. A casual take on this years Pink trend, this sweater would work beautifully over denim shorts and white pumps throughout the summer months, a capsule wardrobe must have. The MiH jeans are this year’s new shape ‘The Tomboy’, slightly high rise but not as high and unflattering as Mom jeans, they are super stretchy and the most beautiful colour. Spring 2016 fashion done 4 ways

With a team of four working together at QR it is really interesting to see how differently we buy and style, each of us choosing very different pieces from the collections.

Today’s post is about four women, each of whom have very different life styles. Ivy and her husband Roberto founded Quattro Rish nearly 9 years ago. With twins aged 5 Ivy is forever on the run, either merchandising, serving, styling customers, paying bills or the school run! She loves big jumpers, funky pants, trainers and has a bit of an addiction to the white shirt (MiH a favourite). Ivy’s style can be described as masculine with a feminine twist – imagine a casual wardrobe with silk shirts, jumpsuits with the occasional pair of feminine shoes.

“The cardigan is pure luxe, I love the combo of grey and cream, it never dates and always looks chic. I can wear it now under my coat and in the spring as a coat. The trainers are just a bit of fun as I never wear prints so I wanted to jazz up some of my simpler outfits. Sam has two grown daughters in their twenties and has reached that enviable stage in life where she can travel the world, dine out and enjoy life with husband. “I picked this outfit because I absolutely love the American Vintage Shirt. I normally go for blouses with a scoop neck as the collar does not suit my style, however this feels so silky and soft, and it drapes so perfectly, that it looks great on. Helen adores clothes but chooses carefully what to buy. I like the combo of navy and black which is so French and absolutely adore these Ivylee shoes – they have a built in little wedge so give a little height. They would look great with a dress or skirt as they make your legs look longer with the open front.

The Coster Copenhagen Jumper is a useful black top but with a difference – holes – and is so easy to wear! I am obsessed with the silk zodiac blouse by MiH, it is a classic and my spring investment piece. A Very British Blogger…

How to Style your Winter Coat

Scandinavian Simplicity

The 3 white shirts you need in your wardrobe

Whether you wear yours oversized with rolled up sleeves or tied at the waist, white shirts have never been so versatile. The classic white shirt is a fashion staple and you can never have too many of them in your wardrobe, trust us: we own a few ! Quattro Rish Sponsors A USA Adventure of Epic Proportions

The countdown has truly begun for our wonderful and loyal customer Jane Bates who is about to embark on an epic cycle race on 16th June as part of Team WOW (Women on Wheels): an international all women road cycling team competing in Race Across the West 2015 for an amazing charity close to her heart, The Astro Brain Tumour Fund.

Spring Denim Styles

It’s no secret that the 70s trend is influencing almost every SS15 collection out there, from flares and pale washed denim to pastel lace-up ankle boots, this spring is going to be one big 70s time warp !

As with each season we buy with our customer in mind, we source a collection of denim that flatters each individual body shape but that screams cool and wearable with a nod to the current season’s trends.

New to Quattro Rish this season is the Tomboy jean from MiH, if you live in your Phoebe jeans then you will L O V E the Tomboy – with a hint at the loose ease of a boyfriend but with a slimmer fit, the Tomboy is the perfect go-to casual jean this season. We welcome the return of denim classics such as the Stiletto in a pale wash with orange stitching; or the Paris from MiH in both blue and white. Why not channel 2015’s answer to the loose leg boyfriend and try the flare ! We are very excited about the imminent arrival of the Skinny Marrakesh jean from MiH, this jean fits like a skinny at the top before flaring into a statement kick – these jeans will be as adorable with flat shoes as they are with heels.

Our best selling style so far this season is the Straight cut-off jean in white from Current Elliott. Wear them loose for a more casual style or go down a size for a more fitted look.

Thank goodness to the fashion powers that be. Sneakers and slides are here to stay along with our favourite ankle boot ! We are very excited with our selection from Sol Sana and Seven Boot Lane. Lots of soft suedes in soft colours – perfect when paired with maxi dresses and boyfriend jeans //

Expect an amazing selection of prints this season; polka dots, checks, oriental influences on beautiful silks. Available as matching outfits or to be styled separately.
