Explore the rich and unique Autumn Winter edit from Essentiel Antwerp. The Antwerp-based brand is influenced by the numerous life experiences of its founders Esfan Eghtessadi and Inge Onsea. In 1999 Esfan and Inge took a chance and launched a T-shirt collection. After a year, the first store opened in Antwerp. Four seasons later, knitwear, jackets, dresses, shirts, and trousers in trendy colours, new materials, and an entire range of accessories were added. An Upcoming Danish Gem…

The brain child of Kamilla Byriel, a renowned Danish designer, Kamilla set out to create a a collection which mixes her personal love of strong basic materials expressed in a raw simplicity – think beautiful prints, ruffles, embroidery, leather with a Nordic twist and you get an understated luxury with budget friendly prices.

Our adventure with this cool Danish label started in summer 2010 when we were in Copenhagen for fashion week and spotted a stand full of vibrant prints, fun designs (a little á la Isabel Marant) and a blond charismatic woman passionately talking to a group of buyers. We were consumed by the energy and passion coming from that stand!

The blond woman was of course Kamilla. She was amazing and we fell in love with the whole package – clothes, vision, passion and Kamilla herself. Here we are six years later still stocking this lovely brand. A Shoe with a Nordic Edge…

We are told that Danes are the happiest people on the planet and that the reason for this happiness is hyyge. For those of you who are not familiar (where have you been) this Norwegian word, pronounced (“heu-gah”), refers to moments of comfort, warmth or happiness. Hygge is about indulgence, not extravagance – embracing the simple things in life.

This Danish meaning can easily be translated from interior to wardrobe – which is why we fell in love with new Scandinavian shoe label, IvyLee Copenhagen. IvyLee Copengahen combines high quality materials, clean lines, natural colours and understated details – all perfectly Danish!

In particular the amazing pointy gold boots which we had could have sold over and over again (and did until we ran eventually out)! Customers still keep asking us about them.

IvyLee shoes are beautifully crafted and feminine but with a cool edge. We love the shapes, studs, prints and choice of colours. Most importantly they are shoes which are comfortable and wearable – this is where the excellent quality comes into play.

This AW16 collection arrived a couple of weeks ago and is proving to be another great success with the amazing Pam boots selling out in one week. The split at the front makes the leg longer, the heel is wooden and just perfect height . They are a real investment boot which can be worn with anything really.

This is a season where anything goes – mixing up textures like silks and wool’s, velvet and metallic, embellishments and soft fabrics. Think bold and don’t be afraid to explore the trend to clash!

CASHMERE is big this season. Cosy, easy to wear, luxurious but fun, our cashmere jumpers from Jumper1234 were picked by Red Magazine in the October issue as the coolest cashmere sweaters for this Autumn Winter!!

WE love a bit of leather and with a great selection of biker jackets, leather shirts by SET, cool faux suede trousers by Twist and Tango and Leggings from Custommade, there are some amazing pieces to help you nail the fashion formula for leather this season. Remember the cutting edge way to wear leather is with polished key pieces and decidedly laid-back tailoring.

CARDIGANS and over-sized cosy sweaters. We have plenty of choice here from American Vintage with the most beautiful colours and shapes. Cardigan coats are massive and we LOVE LOVE that trend – layer it over everything for that casual cosy look.

JEANS and pants. This season everything is in from traditional skinnies (we have a great choice of Current Elliott with an amazing fit for all) to boyfriend jeans (look for Nina boy fit From Reiko with more of a straight leg). We adore our velvet cropped pants from MiH and Grey flannel pants from SET for that very on-trend fashion look. Also green cropped straight leg cords by Current Elliott are proving to be very popular as well as an amazing black cropped kick flares by MiH. We do love a relaxed pair of joggers at Quattro Rish and this season we have been spoilt by super Danish brand Lollys Laundry.

All Things Reigate

We have the best of both worlds being on the London commuter belt, yet nestled at the foot of the North Downs with a beautiful green leafy park right in the centre.

For the last ten years we have been spoilt for choice up and down the high street with the large number of independent businesses including family run coffee shops, interior design & gift shops, opticians, boutiques, bakery, delicatessen and stationary shop, all of which are run with a great deal of passion and love.

Running your own business is not easy. We dream, breathe and never stop thinking about our business. We put everything into it because we simply L O V E what we do and we are proud to have achieved what we have and be where we are today – despite the many mistakes and challenges along the way.
